Who’s Planting?

Parish
Partners

St. Mary Magdalene’s is a Mission of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin in the Anglican Church in North America. It is a collaborative effort between the Parish Church of St. Mark’s in Loomis, California, and the Parish Church of All Saints in Placerville, California. Folsom already possesses a small Anglican Community which currently commutes to either of these two parishes. The planting of an Anglican Parish in Folsom is a unique opportunity to provide a church to an already existing community of faithful Anglicans. Stay up to date on our progress!

Our
Planters

Zac Dewey is the church-planting curate at St. Mark's in Loomis, tasked with planting St. Mary Magdalene's in Folsom. Originally from Kingsburg, CA, Zac holds an MA in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary-Orlando, and brings 9 years of pastoral experience from his previous church in Ripon, CA. He'll lead St. Mary Magdalene's as an extension of St. Mark's until he can take on the plant full-time. Zac and his wife, Bailey, have been married since March 2020 and have two young sons, Thomas and Patrick. Please pray for the Dewey family as they step into this new calling together.
